When it comes to the directions for use, the product can be utilized for laundry purposes only, and it is recommended to first test it on an inconspicuous area before proceeding. It is crucial to always follow the manufacturer's guidelines for the specific item being cleaned, as the product should not be used on silk, wool, leather, or fabrics labeled "dry clean only."

For pre-soaking to remove tough stains and revive dingy whites, the instructions suggest mixing one capful of OxiClean per one gallon of the warmest water recommended by the garment care label. Submerge the affected items in this solution and soak them for six hours before washing as normal.
